Amanda is the talented owner of Salon ReNū, bringing over 18 years of experience to her craft. Early in her career, she honed her cutting skills, and today, her attention to detail is at the heart of every service she provides. As a versatile stylist, Amanda is skilled in a wide range of techniques, including color services, extensions, keratin smoothing treatments, and lash lifts, ensuring that every client leaves feeling rejuvenated and confident.

One of Amanda's greatest joys in her work is the lasting relationships she forms with each guest, making every salon visit a personalized and memorable experience. She is committed to offering only the best in hair care, pairing the luxury of Kerastase with the edginess of Bumble & bumble to create the perfect at-home hair care routine. Amanda’s goal is to not only have you looking your best during your visit but to empower you with the tools and knowledge to recreate your stunning style at home.

Lisa Torgersen

Lisa is the epitome of a seasoned stylist. With her 40+ years of experience, she showcases her talent for custom cutting and styling along with all color services. She is well versed in Kerastase and all the benefits that incorporating luxury hair care can do to elevate your style. In her successful career, she has trained under some of the top educators in our industry. Education has always been prioritized for her personally, but also passing on her wealth of knowledge to up and coming stylists.

Favorite product: Kerastase elixir oil

Loves: All things dogs, especially her two Pekingese and her French bull dog.

Desiree’ Anton

Desiree’ graduated from Capri Dubuque in 2014 and moved to Cedar Rapids to kick off her career. She’s been passionate about the beauty industry since she was young, always styling her own hair and others. With her mom's encouragement, she attended cosmetology school and never looked back! Desiree’ finds doing hair therapeutic and focuses intently on every project in her chair.

She loves educating her clients on at-home care to ensure you can achieve that in-salon look at home. She has 10 years of experience using Bumble & bumble products and has attended Bumble University in NY twice and looks forward to going back. Kerastase has recently become a favorite, and she enjoys mixing and matching the two lines.

Desiree’ specializes in lived-in color, hand-tied extensions, lash lifts, lash and brow tinting, and she loves detailing cuts with curtain bangs and face-framing layers. Her goal is always to have you leaving her chair feeling relaxed and looking your absolute best!

Megan Williams

Megan has been part of the beauty industry since 2012. Her journey began working alongside her sister during her first two years post-college, which provided her with exceptional experience and mentorship. This foundation allowed her to confidently establish herself as a proud entrepreneur. Megan takes great pride in her meticulous approach to her work, striving for perfection, especially with baby light highlights that offer a seamlessly blended, low-maintenance glow.

She delights in helping clients achieve ultimate hair health through regular trims, luxurious in-salon treatments, and personalized at-home regimens using top-notch product lines. While Megan is passionate about hairdressing and enhancing the beauty of her clients, her enduring love for the industry stems from the meaningful connections she forms with each guest, many of whom become long-time friends and even family.

Madi Moes

Madeleine (Madi) graduated from Capri College in 2019 and has found her home at Salon ReNū! She specializes in blonding, lived-in colors, and grey coverage, along with creating custom haircuts tailored to each guest. Madi’s passion is helping clients personalize their color and cut to fit their lifestyle, making her career incredibly rewarding. She loves connecting with each guest to ensure they enjoy their experience at Salon ReNū. Madi is also dedicated to giving clients that in-salon feel with products at home. She has had great success with Kérastase and eagerly seeks out education on all their lines. Additionally, she has fallen in love with Bumble & bumble products, finding that both brands offer unique and exceptional hair care, making them the perfect addition to any routine.
